1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SlopeBuds ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

SlopeBuds is a marketplace that connects students with independent ski and snowboard instructors. The Platform facilitates discovery, communication, and booking between students and instructors. SlopeBuds does not provide instruction, employ instructors, or process payments for lessons.

3. Instructor Responsibility and Liability

Instructors listed on SlopeBuds are independent service providers, not employees or agents of SlopeBuds. Instructors assume all responsibility and liability for the lessons they provide, including but not limited to:

• The safety and well-being of students during lessons
• The quality and accuracy of instruction provided
• Holding appropriate certifications, insurance, and permits as required by their jurisdiction
• Compliance with resort rules, local laws, and safety regulations
• Any injury, damage, or loss that occurs during or as a result of a lesson

SlopeBuds is not responsible for any disputes, injuries, damages, or issues arising from the lesson process. All arrangements, including payment, are made directly between the student and the instructor.

4. Student Acknowledgment of Risk

Skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous activities. Students acknowledge and accept the risks involved, including but not limited to falls, collisions, weather hazards, and equipment failure. Students are responsible for assessing their own fitness and ability before booking a lesson.

5. Payments

SlopeBuds does not process payments for lessons. All payments are arranged directly between the student and instructor. SlopeBuds is not responsible for payment disputes, refunds, or any financial transactions between users.

6. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it as needed. SlopeBuds reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (reviews, messages, profile information). By posting content, you grant SlopeBuds a non-exclusive license to display it on the Platform. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

8. Limitation of Liability

SlopeBuds provides the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlopeBuds shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any lessons booked through it.

9. Changes to Terms

SlopeBuds may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
